Packaging Operative
Samuel Smith's is one of Britain's few remaining longstanding independent breweries. It brews a broad range of high quality beers from all natural ingredients at the Old Brewery in Tadcaster, Yorkshire, which was established in 1758.
A vacancy exists for a Grade 5 Kegging Machine Operative to work on the pasteuriser within the Packaging Department at Samuel Smith's.
No experience needed as training will be given
As a Packaging Operative, your duties will include:
Operating machinery
Loading and unloading kegs from pasteuriser
Good attention to detail
Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
Communicating effectively within the work place

Good food hygiene and health and safety knowledge
Flexibility towards shifts and availability An excellent attitude and work ethic, always keen to learn new skills Good level of physical fitness due to demanding duties Previous exposure to manufacturing or food production advantageous
40 hours per week usually Monday to Thursday
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 29,368.52 per year
