Job Summary

The Packaging Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of bottling and packaging equipment within the brewery. This role plays a key part in ensuring that beer is bottled to meet quality, safety, and production standards. The operator will maintain cleanliness, monitor machinery, and contribute to the smooth operation of the packaging line.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot bottling line machinery including bottle rinsers, fillers, cappers, labelers, and case packers.

Ensure consistent beer quality by performing regular quality checks (fill levels, seal integrity, carbonation, labeling, etc.).

Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the bottling line and surrounding areas in accordance with brewery and SALSA standards.

Record production metrics such as output, downtime, and packaging losses.

Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of packaging equipment.

Identify and report mechanical issues or production anomalies to supervisors.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and good manufacturing practices (GMPs).

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing waste.

About You

Previous experience in a brewery, beverage manufacturing, or food production environment preferred but not essential.

Basic mechanical aptitude.

Physically Fit

Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

Team-oriented with solid communication and problem-solving skills.
