These shift-based roles report to the Production First Line Manager (FLM). You will be part of a multi-skilled team, responsible for operating the Packaging lines, road tankering, the unloading and loading of vehicles, housekeeping and day to day running of the pack operation. The packaging operator owns the complete process from bright beer to packaged goods to the items leaving the brewery via tanker or other transport.

Key Tasks: AccountabilitiesThe safety of our teams is our top priority through teamwork and collaboration ensuring to raise near misses on-time with 100% closure rate. Working with safety on safety initiatives
Sustain high quality standards always by following the clean in place (CIP) programs and maintaining high hygiene standards of our lines, warehouse and yard areas. Follow the CIL standard of the pack line
Take ownership of all areas of your role and follow our operational standards
Meeting keg and tanker plan attainment on time in full making sure to report any deviations
Road Tankering operations and paperwork
Operate packaging machinery in accordance with SOP as in operation at any given time
Performing mechanical changeovers and all quality checks on time in full
Conducting any problem solves and contributing to our continuous improvement program
Inventory management of all pack materials and chemicals for the packaging process.
Own a 5S area on the production floor or warehouse areas
Take initiative of problem solving and support engineering in the fault finding process
Loading and unloading of materials & finished goods in a safe manner using FLT (Fork Lift Truck) or PPT (Powered Pallet Truck)
Partaking in all VPO routines, including 5S, creating and updating SOPs and OPLs, pillar meetings and PDCA cycles.
Follow SKAP
Completing all physical and digital paper trails and movements on time in full; (including but not limited to) using SAP, Digital Logs, WMS.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:Someone passionate about the production of high-quality beer with an understanding of quality within process production
Technical & fault-finding skills to enable you to operate in our fast-moving environment
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Food safety would be an advance
Computer literacy with the ability to follow screen instructions and input data
