Packaging Procurement Manager

The Role

As our

Packaging Procurement Manager

, you'll be responsible for sourcing and managing packaging materials that bring our products to life -- from concept to customer.
You'll lead supplier relationships, drive cost optimisation, and champion sustainability, ensuring our packaging solutions meet both commercial goals and environmental standards.

Working closely with teams across Operations, NPD, Technical, and Commercial, you'll play a key role in shaping how MM Flowers delivers packaging that's functional, beautiful, and fit for the future.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead negotiations and manage strategic packaging suppliers across multiple categories. Ensure all packaging meets quality, sustainability, and brand standards. Identify cost-saving opportunities and process efficiencies across the packaging supply chain. Support the MM Flowers sustainability agenda through innovative, eco-friendly packaging initiatives. Maintain accurate data, pricing, and supplier information in procurement systems. Forecast and plan packaging needs for key seasonal peaks (Valentine's, Mother's Day, Christmas). Partner with NPD and Design teams to bring new packaging concepts to market. Manage supplier performance, risk assessments, and continuous improvement plans.

What You'll Bring

Proven experience in

packaging procurement

, sourcing, or category management within FMCG, manufacturing, or related sectors. Strong

negotiation and supplier relationship management

skills. Knowledge of

packaging materials and production processes

(paperboard, plastics, corrugate, labels, films, etc.). A strong understanding of

sustainability and recyclability standards

. Excellent organisational and project management skills. Confidence using procurement or ERP systems and managing data-driven decisions. A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
