The Role:
We are looking for a superstar Padel Club assistant/Barista to join our growing team for the Summer term. This role is perfect for someone with a strong customer service background and a passion for creating a welcoming, fun environment.
Responsibilities - Reception & F&B:
Establish and maintain excellent relationships with our players and potential players and welcome our players in a friendly and professional manner.
Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and provide accurate information about the club, Padel, and available services.
Manage court bookings, including matches, and rentals.
Maintain a clean, organized and well stocked retail area.
Assist players with selecting merchandise, answering questions, and completing purchases.
Process returns and exchanges according to company policy.
Stay informed about new products and promotions.
Take orders, prepare simple snacks and cold beverages.
Operate coffee machines and prepare hot drinks to the standard of a Barista.
Ensure a clean and hygienic environment in the food and beverage area.
Replenish supplies and maintain stock levels.
General:
Maintain a positive and professional work attitude, upholding the club's values.
Contribute to a clean and welcoming environment throughout the club facilities.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Health & Safety:
Undertake basic club maintenance.
Undertake all day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of the equipment and courts, to the highest possible standards, bringing attention to any faults or repairs to the relevant team.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or a similar role.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
A passion for Padel (preferred) or a strong interest in sports and fitness.
Basic computer literacy and proficiency in point-of-sale systems.
Positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow.
