Location: Children's own homes
Shifts: Days & Nights
Pay: 16-20 per hour
Role Overview
Provide 1:1 complex paediatric care to children in their own homes. This role is for experienced carers only and requires confidence in delivering complex clinical care independently.
Key Duties
Deliver safe, high-quality care to children with complex needs Tracheostomy care, including emergency management Airway suctioning PEG / gastrostomy feeding and medication administration Oxygen therapy and monitoring Follow care plans, risk assessments, and clinical guidance Monitor, record, and report changes in the child's condition Work professionally within the family home
Essential Requirements
Previous experience working with children Proven experience in paediatric complex care Confident with tracheostomy, suctioning, PEG, and oxygen Able to work independently without clinical supervision Reliable, compassionate, and professional
Safeguarding
Enhanced DBS required. Strong safeguarding awareness essential.
