is seeking an experienced

Paediatric Occupational Therapist

to join our growing, multidisciplinary team on a part-time basis.

Words in Motion is a dynamic and expanding therapy practice providing high-quality Speech and Language Therapy and Specialist Teaching. Due to increasing demand, we are excited to be expanding our services to include

Occupational Therapy

and are looking for a therapist who shares our holistic, child-centred ethos.

The Role

You will work closely within a transdisciplinary team, alongside Speech and Language Therapists and Specialist Teachers, and will receive

regular supervision and clinical support from a highly specialist Occupational Therapist

.

Your duties will include:

Occupational therapy assessments using up-to-date and evidence-based tools Planning and delivering individualised intervention programmes Supporting children aged

3-16 years

with a range of needs, including: Sensory processing differences Autism Dyspraxia Dyslexia Developmental delay and associated needs Working collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals

Requirements

We are looking for someone who: Is a

qualified and HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist

Has experience working in

paediatric settings

Is confident managing a caseload independently with strong clinical reasoning skills Has training or experience in

Sensory Integration

and/or the

CO-OP approach

(desirable but not essential) Values collaboration, reflection, and ongoing professional development
