Job Description

As Paid Advertising Lead, you will lead both Paid Search and Paid Social for our largest accounts. As an 'oracle' in these areas, you will act as the go-to authority for relevant subject matter queries and support the Paid Advertising Manager with top-level action-plans.

This role is ideal for someone who excels and has an interest in both channels, thrives on solving complex challenges, and enjoys contributing to frameworks and performance growth without needing to perform departmental management duties.

Key Responsibilities:



Channel Expertise & Strategy



Be the 'oracle' for both Google and Meta platforms, covering Paid Search, Shopping, Remarketing, and Paid Social. Optimise multi-channel strategies and help design full-funnel approaches through our SPACE and BAU framework models. Understanding how they can work together to grow the overall account is fundamental.

Framework Contribution & Innovation



Help build the rate card with new, value-adding services alongside the Paid Advertising Manager. Assist in integrating Paid channels more effectively within client strategies, with particular focus on cross-channel synergy. Support the Paid Advertising Manager in stress testing and suggesting enhancements for both the JUPITER (Google framework) and CALLISTO (Meta framework) which can be presented to the Service Director. Contribute innovative ideas that improve efficiency or client outcomes.

Campaign Management & Performance



Be able to independently plan, build, and optimise paid advertising campaigns. Analyse and communicate performance trends across both search and social. Propose strategic shifts and improvements, ensuring growth targets are met.

Internal Collaboration & Support



Act as a strategic guide for larger and more complex accounts. Deliver Search and Social insights when required, helping communicate pertinent intel and recommendations to the Client Services team. Contribute to onboarding and initial scoping for high-impact clients, ensuring media strategy is appropriately aligned. Support junior team members by acting as the internal expert on relevant subject matter issues and questions.

Desired Skills and Qualifications



Proven Expertise:

Demonstratable experience in both Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Remarketing) and Meta Ads.

Strategic Flexibility:

Demonstrated ability to build and scale campaigns across both acquisition and brand-building goals, understanding when to prioritise one KPI over the other.

Creativity:

Be able to demonstrate a creative mindset, to support Meta awareness strategies.

Continuous Learner:

Stays updated on the latest tools, trends, and best practices in paid advertising.

Excellent Communication:

Strong communication skills to support client strategy and internal collaboration.

Commercial mindset:

Always spotting opportunities for growth or innovation.

KPIs



Paid Media Spend Growth:

Track increases in client spend on paid media. It also refers to the number of SKUs migrated in our JUPITER framework.

Paid Media Revenue/Profit Growth:

Monitor growth in revenue or profit generated from paid media campaigns.

Brand Awareness:

Track increases in brand awareness culminating primarily from the social function.

Salary & Benefits:



A competitive salary ranging from 32,000 to 45,000, commensurate with experience.
