The Role - Paint Prepper (Night Shift)

To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Paint Prepper to join our night shift team. This role focuses on the preparation of large steel fabrications prior to painting, ensuring surfaces meet customer and quality requirements.

The role operates on a

night shift pattern (Monday to Thursday, 12-hour shifts)

, with

overtime opportunities available on Fridays

.

Ideally, you will have knowledge and experience in various methods of paint preparation such as:

Sanding Scraping General washing down / degreasing Fettling Masking General manual handling
We are looking for someone who is conscientious in their way of working, self-motivated, and able to work on their own initiative. You'll be comfortable working at pace, either independently or as part of a wider night shift team.

Candidates should be able to work at heights and/or in confined spaces. Experience within the UK manufacturing or engineering sector will be beneficial. Training will be provided to the right candidate.

What We're Looking For

Relevant experience would be advantageous Forklift truck licence would be advantageous
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 16.80 per hour

Expected hours: 48 per week
