We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. This role involves working with various materials and techniques to ensure that surfaces are properly prepared and painted, contributing to the overall aesthetic and functionality of our projects.
Duties
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Fabricate and assemble components as needed for specific projects.
Utilise both power tools and hand tools effectively to achieve desired results.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety standards.
Demonstrate mechanical knowledge in the use of equipment and tools related to painting tasks.
Perform basic maths calculations for measuring areas and estimating material requirements.
Experience
Proven experience in painting or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with warehouse environments and the ability to work efficiently within them.
A strong understanding of different painting techniques and materials is advantageous.
Ability to follow instructions accurately while demonstrating initiative when required.
