to join our dedicated paint team at our Kendal workshop. In this role, you'll be responsible for applying professional-grade finishes to plant machinery and commercial vehicles, supporting both in-house builds and customer projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Surface preparation and application of various high-quality paints and finishes
Spray painting machinery, vehicles, and individual components
Managing paint supplies and maintaining accurate inventory levels
Keeping the paint booth and work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Coordinating the movement of parts and equipment within the workshop
Who We're Looking For:
Excellent attention to detail and finish quality
Experience with a range of paint types, including gloss, metallic, and lacquer
Background in surface prep and refinishing techniques
Able to work independently and follow precise instructions
Well-organized with strong workspace management habits
Experience with signwriting, vinyl wrapping, or detailing is a bonus--but not essential, as training can be provided
Preferred Experience:
Previous spray painting experience on commercial vehicles such as trucks, trailers, or lorries is highly desirable.
