A skilled and reliable Paint Spray Prepper is required to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for prepping product for spraying.

Responsibilities

Inspecting surfaces for contamination, damage, or imperfections Removing imperfections prior to spraying to ensure a consistent high quality finish. Scraping and sanding surfaces to remove, rust, or other imperfections Cleaning and degreasing surfaces to be painted Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks Assisting in the actual painting process by preparing paints, cleaning brushes and rollers, and other tasks as needed Storing paint supplies properly to ensure they are in good condition for future use Work efficiently to meet deadlines and daily production goals Collaborate as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance on equipment Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe working environment Provide assistance with other tasks when required

Candidate Profile

Minimum of 2 years of paint prepping experience A knowledge and understanding of spray equipment and maintenance Strong ability to manage time and work to meet production demands Excellent team player. Proactive in ensuring safety and cleanliness at all times.
