Overview and Purpose of Role
As a Supervisor, you will provide day to day support to the Production Manager in the management of the Paint department.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Supervision of all production/operational activities within the Paint sections.
First line of contact for operational issues within the Paint sections.
Responsible for follow up checks to ensure all components are available for production purposes and follow up responses to queries.
Ensure that all available resources (people & equipment) are utilised to maximum effect in order to achieve and exceed all customer KPI's.
Maintain harmonious working relationships with all direct employees, nominated representatives and ensure that all "subcontracted" resources perform to the required standard cost effectively.
Ensure Mallaghan operations meet all legal requirements and adhere to Company policies with regard to statutory obligations and Health & Safety requirements.
Maintain the Company's Quality and Environmental Systems and ensure that all operating employees adhere to written procedures.
Responsible for production of monthly/weekly/daily Metrics as defined by the Production Manager.
Alongside Human Resources, conduct meetings relating to employee relations such as disciplinaries, grievances, etc.
Maintain employees Performance Management System.
Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance to all general site Rules, Regulations, Policies & Procedures.
Any other duties as required by management to suit business needs.
Adherence to our ISO 9001 Quality management system.
Adherence to company health and safety procedures.
Maintain a clean and tidy works area
