Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and possess strong communication skills. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks. Apply paint, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. Ensure proper mixing of paints and finishes to achieve desired colours and textures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specification. Conduct touch-ups and repairs as necessary to maintain the quality of work.

Skills

Proficient in construction painting techniques and practices. Strong driving skills with a valid driving licence preferred for transportation of materials. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients and team members. Attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
