Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint and finishes, and ensuring high-quality results that meet client expectations. A valid driving licence is essential for this position, as travel to various job sites will be required.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with safety regulations. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on progress. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order. Collaborate with other tradespeople as necessary to complete projects efficiently.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid driving licence is required for travel between job sites. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
