Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team at Riverside Care Home DE15 9AP. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint and good workmanship.
Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes and rollers. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Communicate effectively. Collaborate with other tradespeople as necessary. Keep an inventory of supplies and materials needed.
Experience
Proven experience in construction painting is preferred. Strong communication skills in English to liaise with the team members effectively. Ability to work independently. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality results are essential qualities for success in this role.
