Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled

Painter & Decorator

with experience in wallpapering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to deliver high-quality finishes on various projects, including residential and commercial properties. You will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and wallpaper, and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, and priming as needed. Apply paint, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper with precision, ensuring seamless results. Carry out decorative techniques such as stenciling, marbling, or special effects when required. Protect furniture, floors, and surrounding areas during work. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Follow health and safety regulations and use appropriate PPE. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure expectations are met.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a painter & decorator, with a strong portfolio of completed work. Excellent wallpapering skills, including pattern matching and working with various wallpaper types. Knowledge of different paint types, application methods, and finishing techniques. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results. Good physical stamina and the ability to work at heights if necessary. A valid UK driving license
