We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in decorating and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail in every task undertaken. A valid driving licence is essential for this position, as travel to different job sites will be required.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications. Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert advice on colour choices and materials. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, reporting any issues as necessary. Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting or a related field is preferred. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid driving licence is essential for travel between job sites. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship. Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials is advantageous.
