Painter & Decorator
As a Painter and Decorator at Lion Quays, you'll play a vital role in keeping our spaces looking fresh, professional, and inviting. You will work on a variety of projects, including guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, and event spaces, ensuring all painting and decorating tasks are completed to the highest standards. Minimum 2 years of experienced required to be considered for the role.
About the role
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting and decorating (sanding, filling, priming, etc.)
Carry out painting, wallpapering, and minor repairs
Maintain high attention to detail to deliver impeccable finishes
Work safely and neatly with minimum disruption to guests
Assist with regular maintenance schedules and refurbishment projects
Collaborate with the maintenance and housekeeping teams
About You
Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator, preferably within hospitality or commercial environments (2 years painting and decorating experience required)
Skilled in various painting techniques and wall coverings
Strong eye for detail and quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, organised, and with a positive attitude
A commitment to maintaining health and safety standards
