The position holder would be to apply decorative finishes and protective coatings to plant, equipment, concrete flooring and products. You would normally work in one of three areas - manufacturing, engineering or construction.

For most work, you would use brush applied coatings in line with the job's design instructions. Your day-to-day tasks could include:

Making sure all the materials are mixed correctly to get the right colour and consistency. Preparing the surfaces to be covered. Applying primer coats. Applying main coats then the finish. Applying Epoxy Resin. Repairing and preparation to Floors to apply Epoxy Resin. Checking finished jobs as part of quality control. Cleaning and maintaining painting equipment. Carry out tasks as per Bilfinger and/or client requirement, only if deemed competent to do so.



Key Skills

Good concentration levels and the ability to pay close attention to detail. Good practical skills. The ability to follow written instructions and keep records. A safety-conscious approach to work. The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. Good hand-to-eye coordination. Normal colour vision



Qualifications

Relevant Trade CSCS Card (Essential)

Must be able to obtain Security Clearance (Essential)

Experienced in applying Epoxy Resin (Essential)
