Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to various surfaces in construction and maintenance projects. This role requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper paint adhesion. Apply paints, varnishes, stains, or coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Follow technical specifications and safety guidelines during all painting activities. Inspect completed work for quality assurance and touch up as necessary. Maintain a clean work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use. Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet project deadlines and specifications.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting or related trades is preferred. Valid driving licence is essential for transporting equipment or travelling between sites. Excellent communication skills in English to understand instructions and liaise effectively with team members and clients. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to painting activities. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials when required. A proactive attitude with good attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards of workmanship.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 17.00-19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
