Job Title: Bodyshop Panel Repair Technician
Reports To: Bodyshop Supervisor

Role Overview:
This position focuses on repairing or replacing damaged vehicle body panels in line with job specifications. You may also be tasked with working on vehicle chassis and structural components.

Qualified Personnel:

You will carry out your core duties independently and oversee the work of less experienced technicians when needed.

Non-Qualified Personnel:

You will perform your primary tasks under direct supervision of a qualified technician.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Remove, repair, or replace vehicle panels, ensuring quality standards are met. Use appropriate tools such as jigs, fixtures, and welding equipment, strictly following safety procedures and your skill level. Follow manufacturer instructions and technical bulletins for chassis and body panel repairs or replacements. Stay updated on industry practices through ongoing training. Handle vehicles with care to ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of tools and equipment. Comply with all health, safety, and housekeeping policies relevant to your role and working environment.
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
Your technical expertise will be evaluated and agreed upon with your manager or team leader to ensure competency.

Additional Duties:
Given the organization's scope, you may be assigned other reasonable tasks within your expertise as directed by senior management.

Compensation and Benefits:

Earnings can reach up to 52,000 per year, including site bonuses, depending on experience and qualifications. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required; ATA accreditation is preferred. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.
