Job Title:

Panel Builder / Electrical Assembler

We are seeking a skilled and reliable

Panel Builder

to assemble and wire electrical control panels, and conveyors in accordance with engineering drawings and wiring diagrams. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical assemblies meet quality, safety, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and wire electrical control panels from engineering drawings and schematics. Install and connect components such as circuit breakers, contactors, relays, isolators, switches, and PLCs. Perform wiring of control panels, motors, and isolators according to layout and wiring diagrams. Ensure all electrical work complies with company standards and relevant electrical regulations. Carry out point-to-point wiring checks and continuity testing. Mount and terminate electrical components neatly and accurately. Diagnose and correct wiring faults or component issues during build and testing phases. Collaborate with engineers and project teams to resolve technical or design issues. Complete required documentation and quality control checklists.

Qualifications & Experience

Relevant electrical qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent). Proven experience in panel building, electrical assembly, or industrial control wiring. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics. Strong understanding of control circuits, motor control systems, and isolator wiring. Knowledge of electrical safety standards and best practices.

Pay: 30,000.00-32,000.00 per year
