Job Summary

Due to our continued success we want to add to our team of Electrical Panel builders. Your role will be to assist in the layout and wiring of electrical panels ensuring the product is built to the drawing specifications, at the highest quality standards and within agreed timeframes. Our new employee will demonstrate a positive team culture and work to our company values.

We offer a four day week Monday - Thursday 7am - 5.30pm with two 30 minute breaks. Along with other benefits we provide a two hour paid appointment leave. We have regular overtime available.

Responsibilities

Build/Assemble Electrical control panels/Switchgear products following agreed specifications, meeting target deadlines and within cost. Have the ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Follow instruction from team leads and carry out duties accordingly. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in line with the company EHS policies. Continuously develop knowledge and skills of control panel building processes. Be an active participant in the continuous improvement journey within the company.

Requirements

Previous experience in Panel and Switchgear building. Demonstrate ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams. Able to understand electrical schematics and Bills of Materials. Knowledge of components for Panel and Switchgear Products. Ability to work as part of a team, meet deadlines set and strong communicator. Proactively help to implement EHS improvements as identified. Willing to undertake other requests outside of your normal day to day activity that will support the needs of the business.
