Stratos Controls Ltd. has provided system Integration and Automation Support services for a wide range of industries for almost 30 years. We work extensively in the food, manufacturing, and heavy Industrial sectors and are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team.

We are seeking a skilled

Control Panel Wire Person

to join our team. As a

Control Panel Wire Person

, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing backplates/wiring, etc., that directly represent the company profile, giving the end user a good impression of the standard we aim to achieve.

You will also work alongside other engineers when laying out the individual backplate, as the final system layout may be somewhat fluid in the early stages.

Responsibilities

The role requires the candidate to generate the following, specific for individual jobs:

Wire a backplate and door control cables according to the supplied wiring schematics and data information sheet. Ensure the correct cable crimps/ferrules are fitted, and all wires are correctly marked up with cable identification markers. Install mains power cables, ensuring cables and cable lugs are of the correct size and type are used Install power cables to components and tighten them to the specified torque setting Install earth cables within the enclosure to the earth bar, Produce wire markers and component labels using dedicated printing machines. Assembling steel enclosures Wiring electrical components to specified drawings Cutting of steel enclosures as per supplied drawings

Experience

Experience in Electrical wiring

Ability to build metal panels

Background in Electrical Engineering

Good communication skills
