Job Overview

Our factory is expanding and we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic team of subcontract basis Timber Frame Production Operatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with hand and power tools. As a Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in the assembly process within our warehouse environment, ensuring that our product is manufactured to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Hours of work are between 6am-3pm (however more hours are available upon request). The panels are paid on a price basis, once up to speed your earnings will also rise.

Responsibilities

Assemble components and products using hand tools and power tools as required. Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently to meet production targets. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues promptly. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve workflow. Assist in inventory management by tracking materials used during production.

Requirements

Proven experience in a production or warehouse environment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Flexibility to adapt to changing production demands and schedules.
