MJM Industrial is seeking experienced Panel Wirers / Electrical Technicians to support a major new installation project at Heathrow Airport. The role involves installing new control panels and associated electrical systems for automated handling systems in a live airport environment.

Applying candidates must be able to qualify for a full airside pass, which involves a 5-year checkable history.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and modification of PLC/electrical control panels for automated systems On-site panel wiring Read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings Install, terminate, and test field wiring, I/O modules, sensors, and actuators Collaborate with onsite engineers and project teams to ensure system functionality Carry out cable routing and system installation within live operational environments at Heathrow

Essential Requirements:

Proven experience as a panel wirer or electrical technician in an industrial or automation setting Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts Experience working in an Industrial Environment Competency card - ECS, JIB, or equivalent Must be able to obtain a Full Airside Pass, which requires 5 years of checkable work history in the UK Full UK driving licence Awareness of electrical safety in high-security and operational environments

Desirable:

Experience working within airports, logistics, or automated handling environments Valid electrical certification (NVQ, City & Guilds, 18th Edition, etc.)
