Job Description

We are looking to recruit a paralegal with at least 6 months recent paid experience to join our team. You will assist the senior solicitor with their caseload and take instructions from clients, research and draft documentation under supervision. Experience in family law, Probate and Wills preferred. No conveyacing or personal injury candidates will be considered as these are not areas that we offer. We are not able to transfer training contracts from other firms.

A Law degree and LPC must both be passed and not be currently studying, full time or part time. The role is likely to lead to a training contract if the candidate performs well over a 6 month period once recruited. Full referecences from current employer will be needed. The role is not a part time one; law students cannot apply. LAW STUDENTS - THIS IS NOT A ROLE FOR YOU AND CANNOT BE WORKED AROUND STUDIES. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY.

The role is based in Bedworth, CV12. Please check your journey and costs before you apply. We operate a 4 day working week with Wednesdays as a non working day.

A Test will be given before the interview and a presentation will also be required.

This is not a suitable role for a trainee paralegal or a law graduate with no experience. Previous candidates who were unsucessful need not apply unless you have gained relevant experience during the relevant period. YOU ARE EXPECTED TO RUN A CASE LOAD IMMEDIATELY; THIS IS NOT A TRAINEE ROLE. Previous applicants need not apply.
