Job description

1. Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases

2. Draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence

3. Organise and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are up to date

4. Assist in the preparation of trial materials and exhibits

5. Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in cases

6. Schedule appointments and manage calendars for legal staff using Microsoft Outlook

7. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times

8. Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the legal team

Skills/Qualifications required

-

1. Proven experience as a Paralegal or similar role is preferred

2. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential

4. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail

5. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment

6. Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is advantageous

7. IT proficiency to navigate various software applications used within the legal field
