The role
This is a great opportunity for a paralegal with strong immigration experience to become part of a growing practice group. You will gain exposure to a range of clients and take responsibility for conducting relevant research, drafting documents, and completing applications. You will work closely with the Head of Department and also have the opportunity to gain broader business development experience to help further raise the profile of the practice.
Main responsibilities
Assisting with the preparation of immigration applications, under supervision.
Completing online visa application forms, drafting Certificates of Sponsorship, uploading documents to UKVCAS and scheduling biometric appointments.
Opening and closing files in accordance with compliance rules.
Scanning and copying documentation.
Reviewing client queries and drafting responses for team review.
Drafting covering letters for immigration applications.
Compiling case summaries of recent decisions to maintain up-to-date legal knowledge.
Answering incoming queries and providing case updates to clients.
Drafting press releases and blog articles for publication.
Preparing account forms for Finance processes.
Coordinating the end-to-end billing process and Elite financial reporting.
Ensuring the Business Development (BD) team is fully informed of any BD activities and updating schedules as required.
Supporting PAs where needed, particularly during periods of absence.
About you
Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate:
Previous immigration experience in a paralegal role.
Excellent attention to detail, and strong oral and written communication skills.
Outstanding diary management, organisational, and time-management abilities.
Flexibility, initiative, and a proactive approach.
The ability to work well in a deadline-driven environment, remaining calm and focused.
Strong teamwork and multitasking skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments.
Proactivity in taking responsibility for cases.
Discretion when handling sensitive information and high-profile clients.
A desire to take ownership of your career progression - your development will be fully supported.
Awareness of SRA rules and regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PDF and PowerPoint.

CRM
Chrome River
Document management systems (e.g. iManage)
PDF Docs and Adobe
