With a global presence, the firm specialises in customised M&A legal services tailored to leading private equity firms and other alternative asset managers and finance providers.



We are currently seeking an associate to join this global team, focusing on corporate and transactional matters and assisting and directly advising private equity clients.

Responsibilities:





As a Paralegal, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced associates in our new Manchester office. You will collaborate with the corporate team, assisting private equity firms with various tasks, including:


Drafting and negotiating ancillary documents such as non-disclosure agreements, offer letters, consulting agreements, reliance/non-reliance letters, and engagement letters in connection with acquisitions and investments. Supporting private equity firms in the disposal/issuance of assets and shares. Performing general corporate duties, including maintaining the register of members and directors, preparing special resolutions, issuing share certificates, and filing documents at Companies House. Direct communication and contact with clients, providing an opportunity for real-world legal experience.



Requirements:




Law degree or GDL equivalent. LPC/SQE preferred but not necessary.



Skills:




Ability to work effectively within a small team. Attention to detail and independent work capabilities. Basic IT skills and conceptual, analytical, and critical thinking. Ambitious, self-motivated, and willing to learn. Ability to use initiative.
