The Role: Family Law Paralegal

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced

Family Law Paralegal

to join our growing team in Manchester City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious legal professional to contribute meaningfully to a dynamic department handling

privately funded

family law matters including divorce, financial settlements, and children-related issues.

You'll manage an existing caseload, support the continued development of the department, and play an active role in business generation.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse caseload of private family law matters Prepare and draft legal documentation with accuracy and attention to detail Keep case management systems fully updated Handle sensitive and often complex family law cases with empathy and discretion Represent clients at court where appropriate Proactively contribute to business development and client acquisition

About You:

Minimum

1-2 years' experience

in Family Law Self-motivated and able to manage your own caseload independently Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines A high level of professionalism, empathy, and discretion in dealing with sensitive issues Commercially aware and comfortable engaging with clients and building new relationships Excellent communication and client-care skills
