The Role
We are currently looking for applicants interested in working within IMC, Trust & Tax, Leasehold Services or Conveyancing. When applying, please indicate where you would be interested in working.
A Paralegal plays a crucial role, providing essential support to their team and others within the firm. The role includes the provision of administrative and legal services to our clients which requires a strong understanding of legal procedures, excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to manage a varied workload efficiently.
Legal Support
Draft legal documents, correspondence and reports
Conduct legal research and summarise findings
Prepare case bundles and court documents
Assist with compliance and regulatory filings
Understand basic fee structure and costs aspects of funding.
Client Interaction
Handle new client enquiries efficiently and professionally
Attend meetings with clients and prepare attendance notes
Maintain client communication, manage enquiries and take instructions
Liaise with clients and third parties in a professional and diligent manner
Administrative duties
Organises the opening and closing of matters
Assist in ensuring due diligence is carried out at the start of a matter
Organise and maintain case files and records
Schedule meetings, manage diaries and record important dates
Handle correspondence and billing in a timely manner
Learning and Development
Keep up to date with the relevant areas of law and practice
Complying with the rules of conduct and regulation governing our practice.
Attending team meetings
Attending training organised by the firm
Engaging in formal reviews and regular feedback sessions

Qualifications
Ideally a Degree in Law/GDL/CILEx or previous experience of working in a similar role
