We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paraplanner to join our dynamic financial planning team in an FCA regulated environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting financial advisers with the end to end client journey. This position requires strong organisational skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Responsibilities
Preparing & sending off client authority letters
Chasing providers for policy details in a timely manner and inputting details of existing plans once received into the CRM
Checking Fact Finds are fully completed and where applicable, input the relevant details into client management system
Scanning all documents/emails provided by Adviser onto the central database
Checking all Anti Money Laundering information is current and relevant checks have taken place
Client Agreement / Service Agreement / Privacy Notice are signed and dated and on file
Obtaining illustrations, application forms, Key Feature Documents and other relevant supporting documentation
Support the Financial Advisers design and deliver bespoke financial solutions for clients
Conduct portfolio analysis
Compiling effective and detailed research
Use of key financial software such as Dynamic Planner, I-O, Cashcalc
Possess strong suitability report writing skills
Follow internal procedures with regards to compliance
Tracking new business and the up to date position, and informing the Adviser accordingly
Ensuring all new business has been checked and signed off and policy documents sent to client
Provide ad hoc valuations on request
Prepare review packs for Adviser to include generating information from platform / online services
Maintaining accurate records on the back-office system for both new and existing policies
Check the integrity of information supplied by existing product providers

Excellent understanding of the financial planning process
Ability to communicate well at all levels
Ability to work independently and in a team
Prioritise and plan own workload
Excellent report writing skills
Proficient in financial services software, ideally I-O, Dynamic Planner, Cashcalc, ATEB suitability reports or equivalent
Ability to achieve agreed outcomes without supervision with good planning and effective organisational skills
Proficient in analysing financial data to support decision-making processes.
