Stephen Eve Financial Planning is looking for a diligent Paraplanner to play a pivotal role in our fast-growing company, delivering an exemplary, personal service to clients nationwide.
You will work closely with Financial Advisers, providing crucial analytical support to create bespoke financial plans. Working collaboratively, you will develop and execute recommendations that are client-focused and aligned with their goals.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise and the ability to consistently deliver precise, detailed, and high-quality work. You will have a solid understanding of financial products, FCA principles, and regulatory standards.
Hybrid working:
Tuesday-Thursday in the office. Monday and Friday can be remote.
Key attributes to be successful within the role:
Have achieved CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or close to completing this qualification
Previous experience in a Financial Services Administration or Paraplanning role required
Demonstrate a strong understanding of FCA principles, regulatory standards, and financial products and services, including pensions, investments, protection, estate planning, and tax strategies
Strong analytical skills to assess complex financial information
Excellent written communication skills and proficient in constructing articulate suitability letters and reports
Self-motivated and driven with the ability to work as a team to deliver strong client outcomes and contribute to business growth
Management of your own workload, using initiative to achieve agreed outcomes without supervision
Key responsibilities:
Work closely with advisers to ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and client-focused financial plans
Analyse financial data to support advisers in making informed decisions on client solutions
Preparation of in-depth new business, review, and withdrawal suitability reports for clients
Conduct technical provider, product, and compliance research using systems such as O&M and FE Analytics
Audit documentation for client appointments and meetings to ensure FCA regulatory adherence
Submission of withdrawals on investment platforms
Liaison with providers to obtain information about existing and potential investments
Establish and build strong relationships with clients, becoming a key contact to enhance their overall experience
