Job Description

Staffline is recruiting for a Parcel Sorter to work for our client, the world's leading logistics provider, based at London Heathrow Airport.
Parcel Sorters are paid 14.26 - 16.73 per hour, with enhanced rates for overtime.
This is a full-time role, working rotating day and night shifts:
- Day Shift: 04:00 - 13:00
- Night Shift: 22:00 - 09:00
Your Time at Work
As a Parcel Sorter, you will be responsible for:
- Loading and unloading trailers
- Scanning and processing parcels
- Completing basic computer tasks
- Operating pump trucks safely
- Carrying out general warehouse duties
- Sorting items by postcode and moving them through the facility
- Working efficiently to meet tight deadlines - some teams process over a million items per shift
Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal Parcel Sorter will:
- Be comfortable with repetitive lifting
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to push heavy trolleys and lift mail bags up to 15kg
- Be capable of standing for long periods
- Have a good level of spoken and written English
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail
- Be flexible and adaptable to different tasks
No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.
