Part Time Accounts Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and organised Accounts Assistant to join our team in Belfast on a part-time basis. Immediate start available.

The role will focus mainly on sales ledger and credit control, supporting customer accounts and helping maintain accurate financial records. Other accounts duties may be required.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounts who enjoys working with customers and maintaining accurate ledgers.

Key Responsibilities



Chasing outstanding customer debts by phone and email Raising and issuing sales invoices and credit notes Reconciling customer accounts and resolving discrepancies Allocating payments and maintaining accurate ledger records Handling customer queries relating to invoices, payments, and statements Liaising with internal teams to resolve account issues

Requirements



Previous accounts/ book-keeping experience essential Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills Comfortable using accounting software and Microsoft Excel Able to work independently and manage workload effectively Reliable, professional, and customer-focused

Pay:

15.00 per hour

Hours:

Part-time, 16-20 hours per week (hours to be agreed)
