Job Description

Allsorted is a book distribution company. We sell to gift shops, card shops, heritage outlets, department stores, garden centres, online retailers etc.

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our small team in our offices in Kings Langley.

Duties to include:

Purchase Ledger

- processing invoices and matching stock invoices to purchase orders, supplier payments and queries. Checking and processing expenses and mileage claims. Company Credit Card reconciliation.

Sales Ledger

- matching customer payments to the ledger; reconciling customer accounts; customer queries. Credit Control by email and telephone.

Reconcile Bank Accounts

- on a daily basis to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

Month End and General Finance Support -

assisting with preparation of financial statements and reports.

Maintain confidentiality of Financial Information.



This is a small office so applicants must be flexible and willing to take on any task that is required to support the business.

Advanced knowledge of Excel required.

Excellent telephone manner required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

Education:

GCSE or equivalent (required)
Experience:

accounts/finance: 3 years (required)
Work Location: In person
