We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting functions. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting software to contribute to our organisation's financial health.
Duties
Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is correctly recorded
Prepare financial reports and summaries as required by management
Assist with payroll processing and related documentation
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies
Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance role
Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Experience managing accounts payable and receivable processes
Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
A recognised qualification in accounting or finance is desirable but not essential
