We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Assistant to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and baking a variety of baked products, including bread, pastries, and cakes. Support the food preparation process by measuring ingredients and following recipes accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bakery workspace in accordance with food safety regulations. Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, and other kitchen appliances. Ensure all baked goods meet quality standards before packaging or presentation. Support stock management by organising ingredients and supplies, and notifying management of inventory needs. Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

Experience

Previous experience in food production, food preparation, or cooking is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Experience working in a kitchen or restaurant environment is advantageous. Knowledge of baking techniques and culinary practices is preferred. Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures is beneficial. A proactive attitude with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
