Part Time Bookkeeper Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Banking
• Various reconciliations (bank and credit)
• Managing cash flow
• Purchase ledger and sales ledger management
• Maintaining and updating financial records
• Perform credit control
• Assist with year end accounts
• Managing payroll
• Adhoc duties that may be required (admin / HR)

The successful Part Time Bookkeeper:

• Previous experience in a similiar role is essential
• Local to Ilkeston
• Wanting up to 25 hours per week
• Knowledge of accounting software
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to manage workload effectively
• Excellent communication skills
• AAT Qualified (not essential)
• Strong numerical skills
• Strong accounting experience

Our client is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team on a part time permanent basis.
They are offering a salary up to 35,000 (full time equivalent) which is dependent on experience of the Part Time Bookkeeper.
The successful candidate will be joining a great team and play a vital role in their finance function in Ilkeston within the Retail sector.
This is a fully office based position in Ilkeston.
