Summary
We are seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to join our team in our Stockton office. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our financial records and ensuring accurate reporting.
This is a part time role, working approximately 5 hours per week on a flexible basis.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with company policies.
Maintain accurate records using accounting software such as Xero.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes.
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Familiarity with accounts payable processes is preferred.
