24 per week o 2 x 12-hour shifts (08:00-20:00)

Ocean Living Care Home is looking for a warm, dedicated Care Assistant to join our day team. If you're passionate about supporting older adults and want to work in a beautiful, homely environment overlooking Mumbles Bay, we'd love to hear from you.

About Ocean Living

We are a small, 14-bed residential care home with a close-knit team and a genuine family feel. Our focus is on providing personalised care for older adults, including those living with dementia, in a calm, supportive, and welcoming environment.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you'll support residents throughout the day, helping them stay comfortable, independent, and engaged. Tasks include:

Assisting with personal care such as washing, dressing, and toileting Supporting mobility, positioning, and safe movement Helping with meals, drinks, and nutritional needs Providing companionship and emotional reassurance Monitoring wellbeing and reporting changes promptly Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control

What We're Looking For

? A kind, patient, and respectful approach
? Confidence working as part of a small, supportive team
?

NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (preferred)

?

Registered with Social Care Wales (or willing to register)

? Experience in a care setting is desirable
