Supper Cook - Hollywynd Rest Home, West Worthing

Hollywynd is a friendly Rest Home in West Worthing, just a short distance from the town centre.

We are looking for a

Supper Cook

to join our team, preparing light evening meals for our residents and ensuring the kitchen is clean and tidy ready for breakfast service the next day.

About the role

Supper service includes preparing simple and tasty meals such as sandwiches, chicken burgers, pasta dishes, beans on toast, bacon rolls, sausage rolls, and cheese & biscuits.

Some supper meals will be prepared earlier in the day by our chef and will just need heating and serving, while others will be made fresh by you during your shift.

Hours

4:00pm - 6:00pm

Various days available

What we're looking for

Must be over 18 years old Some cooking experience is required Comfortable working at a fast pace Able to prepare a range of simple hot and cold foods Understanding of basic food preparation and safe use of kitchen equipment (e.g. cooker, toaster, microwave)
Full training will be provided, but we're looking for someone who can confidently step into the role and quickly get comfortable in the kitchen.
