Job Description

At Green Fox Cleaning, we are seeking an

experienced and reliable

cleaning operative

who take pride in their work to join our friendly school cleaning team

initially as a support cleaner covering sickness and other absence

a school in The Boulevard area of Worthing (BN13 1LB area).

The shift times will either be 2:45pm to 5:45pm or 3:15pm -5:45pm between Monday and Friday.

As a support cleaner and once you prove your reliability and quality of your work, you will be first in line to be offered the next permanent vacancy that arises at the school.

Please note this is a

special educational needs school

, which can be messy and must be cleaned to the highest standard of hygiene levels to keep it safe for the students.

You will be subject to an

enhanced DBS check

which will be paid for by the company (cost charged back to you if you leave within 6 months)

You will be responsible for your own section of the school which you will clean each shift.

We will provide full training around all aspects of cleaning, the safe use of chemicals (COSHH), safe manual handling and all other essential training to keep you safe at work.

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial cleaning and janitorial services Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and safety protocols Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Reliability and punctuality in attendance and performance
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Temporary, Zero hours contract

This role is initially a causal role to support and cover sickness, with the option of taking the next permanent role at the site. Are you happy to start this way? What is your home postcode?
