Part-Time/Casual Bar Server

Job Purpose

To deliver exceptional service to guests by preparing and serving beverages efficiently and professionally, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring all guests enjoy a positive and memorable experience in the hotel's bar areas.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide information on drinks, menu items, and specials. Take and process drink and any food orders accurately using the till system. Serve beverages and food promptly and professionally in the bar, function, lounge, or restaurant areas. Handle payments and issue receipts. Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across bar areas, tables, and service stations. Restock bar supplies, glassware, and garnishes as required. Support setup and breakdown of the bar area before and after service. Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and hygiene regulations. Assist the hotel team with other duties as required to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment. Basic knowledge of drink service and cash handling.
