reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Catering Assistant

to join our front-of-house and kitchen support team.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in presentation and service, and thrives in a busy but positive cafe environment.

The Role

As a Catering Assistant, you will support the daily running of the cafe, ensuring customers receive excellent service and the cafe remains clean, well organised and inviting at all times.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Providing friendly, efficient customer service at all times Taking food and drink orders and operating the till accurately Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks and light food items Supporting the kitchen team with basic food preparation as required Clearing tables and maintaining a clean, tidy cafe environment Washing up and keeping back-of-house areas organised Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures Replenishing displays and assisting with stock rotation Working as part of a close-knit team to ensure smooth daily service
What We're Looking For

A positive, approachable and can-do attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills Good attention to cleanliness and detail Ability to work efficiently during busy periods Previous cafe or hospitality experience is beneficial but not essential
