The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. Duties

Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to specified recipes and standards Assist with food presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with food preparation as directed by kitchen staff members Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment Support team members during busy service periods, including serving customers when required Ensure all food is stored correctly and labelled appropriately

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Excellent attention to detail in food presentation and quality control Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude Experience in meal preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen equipment operation is desirable

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 11.30-13.00 per hour
