Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to specified recipes and standards Assist in the organisation and maintenance of the kitchen workspace, ensuring cleanliness and safety at all times Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards diligently Support meal presentation to ensure visual appeal and quality Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods Maintain stock levels, assist with inventory checks, and ensure proper storage of ingredients Assist with special dietary requirements and customise dishes as needed Contribute ideas for menu development and improvements

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Experience working in a restaurant or catering environment is highly desirable Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced setting
