We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Cook. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and supporting the overall kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation and cooking processes, following established recipes and standards
Support the team in meal assembly and presentation to ensure quality and consistency
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Help with inventory management, including stock rotation and storage
Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to health and safety guidelines
Support serving staff during busy periods, including plating and delivering meals as required
Contribute to maintaining a positive and efficient working environment within the kitchen team
Skills
Previous experience in food preparation or cooking is desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Experience working in a restaurant or catering environment is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
